WATCH: Highland League Weekly – Huntly’s Angus Grant on his serious knee injury comeback and the fresh perspective of fatherhood

Highland League Weekly recently chatted to Huntly’s Angus Grant about his comeback from a serious knee injury, and how becoming a father has changed his perspective on football. The video is available to watch on its own here.

Striker Grant missed more than a year of action after rupturing two ligaments in one of his knees at the start of the 2021/22 campaign – but, following a gruelling rehabilitation period, he’s now back on the goal trail for the Black and Golds, with a new appreciation for the game.

Highland League Weekly – main show every Monday at 7pm

Our subscribers-only football show, Highland League Weekly, is back bigger and better for the new season – with episodes going live every Monday at 7pm.

This week’s main Highland League Weekly Monday night show features highlights of the potential game-of-the-season between Brora Rangers and Banks o’ Dee, as well the best of the action from another GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup first round tie between Brechin City and Rothes. 

Callum Law and Paul Third then help Ryan Cryle analyse the rest of Saturday’s cup results, while there’s also Quickfire Questions with Forres Mechanics’ Martin Groat.

At points throughout the campaign, we will again be producing Highland League Weekly EXTRA highlights shows from midweek matches, which will be released on Thursday nights.
