Finn Yeats hopes his knowledge of the Breedon Highland League can help Falkirk get the better of Wick Academy.
The Bairns make the trip to Harmsworth Park on Saturday in the third round of the Scottish Cup.
Midfielder Yeats spent part of last season on-loan at Keith. His brother Kieran plays for the Maroons, while Dad Craig won six Highland League titles in a row in the 1990s with Huntly and Peterhead and also played for Keith and Cove Rangers.
With the Kynoch Park club scheduled to face the Scorries last week, Finn had hoped to pick his brother’s brain about Wick, however, the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
He said: “Keith’s game against Wick was cancelled last weekend unfortunately.
“I’ve never been to Wick before, but I’ve asked Kieran for some information.

“My Dad played football at a good level with the likes of Huntly and Peterhead so the experience he’s got has helped me.
“Then I played with my brother last season when I was on loan at Keith, so I understand the Highland League and what sort of game it will be.
“Hopefully I can use that to my advantage and help us get through.
“Wick have got home advantage and we know it won’t be easy, but we want to get as far as we can in the cup.”
Yeats joined Falkirk in the summer having been released by Aberdeen, and has enjoyed his time working under manager John McGlynn in League One.
He added: “I’m really pleased with how things are going just now.
“I’ve played about 20 games and it’s good to get that experience because I’m still young.
“At Aberdeen I was playing under-18s, but now it’s proper football and I’m really enjoying it.”
