Brora Rangers’ prolific forward Zander Sutherland will miss Saturday’s promotion play-off game against Edinburgh City at Dudgeon Park.
Sutherland will be in Hamburg, Germany along with a group of Highland League players at the stag party of his former Buckie team-mate Martin Charlesworth, who now plays for Deveronvale.
Sutherland said: “I know some will question my commitment but nothing could be further from the truth. This is a long-standing arrangement which has been planned since last summer and everything has been paid up for months.”
Brora central defender Grant Munro will also miss Saturday’s game – the second leg of a play-off from which the winners will advance to play Montrose for a place in the SPFL.
Munro will be attending his parents’ 40th wedding anniversary celebrations.
Brora full back Dale Gillespie also misses out as he is suspended.
The first leg of Brora’s play-off against Edinburgh ended in a 1-1 draw at Meadowbank.
