Fort William are looking to end the Highland League season on a high by winning their last two games, starting with today’s Claggan Park match against Deveronvale.
Manager Calum MacLean said: “We are looking for all three points but we are going into the game a wee bit short. Full back Lewis Campbell and midfielder Keith Millar are injured and central defender Willie Gemmell is suspended.”
Vale manager Ally MacLeod said: “Fort are on a really good run of form and we are expecting a tough game. We are without Martin Charlesworth, his brother Colin and Liam Archibald but forward Stuart Leslie is available again.”
Wick Academy and Strathspey Thistle meet at Harmsworth Park where 34-year-old midfielder Craig Shearer could make his 500th start.
Academy manager Gordon Connelly said: “We are looking to secure the points to end the season on a high. We will have Lukasz Geruzel, Sean McCarthy and Alan Hughes back in the squad, along with Orkney-based youngsters, John Pickles and Joe Wilson.”
Jags manager Brian Grant said: “A draw would see us equal our best points tally, 15, while a win would set up a points record.”
