Deveronvale drew 4-4 with Colony Park.
Harry Noble’s penalty and Max Stewart’s counter had the Highland League side two ahead, before the Junior side pulled one back. Horace Ormsby and Kyle MacKillop-Hall then made it 4-1 Vale, with a late flurry of goals earning Colony a draw.
The Vale have added two players to their first-team squad ahead of the new campaign after Liam Gibb and Jack Mitchell signed two-year deals.
Goalkeeper Gibb, 19, joins the club from Fraserburgh where he played for the under-18 and under-21 teams while attacker Mitchell, 16, has been promoted from the under-18 squad after winning young player of the year last season.
