In this modern day and age we see football players hit the deck after the slightest of touches, we see players diving, we see opposition players waving imaginary yellow cards and we ultimately see many a fan fall out of love with the game as a result.
Our photographer Colin Rennie was on hand at Huntly v Rothes this afternoon and as well as seeing an impressive Huntly performance, earning the hosts a 5-0 victory, he also saw plenty of strong challenges and the game played in a good spirit.
The prima donnas at the very top of the professional game may be spoiling the sport for some people but you can always rely on the Highland League for a good honest 90 minutes of football.
