Rothes co-managers Paul Lamberton and Willie Duncan have resigned after 10 months in charge at Mackessack Park.
The duo have stepped down following a run of poor results which has left the club bottom of the Highland League.
The Speysiders have lost all 10 league games so far and are six points adrift of 17th placed Fort William and were eliminated from the Scottish Cup on Saturday after losing 7-0 at Buckie Thistle.
Rothes chairman Iain Paul said: “I met with them yesterday where they expressed their frustration and disappointment at the lack of progress on the park.
“This has been even more painful as they could see our club making such giant strides off the field since the new committee had been formed just seven weeks before.”
Committee members and former players Derek Thomson and Russell Anderson will take charge on an interim basis and will be in the dugout for Saturday’s trip to Forres Mechanics with the club planning on advertising the post.
