Inverurie Locos midfielder John Maitland and former Aberdeen and Peterhead player David Ross have both signed new 12-month contracts which will keep them at Harlaw Park until the summer of 2015 at least.
Locos co-manager Kenny Coull is delighted with the commitment shown by the pair. He said: “These two signings keep our squad together, so we are all delighted with that going into next season. All we need now is a bit of fine-tuning over the summer.
“John Maitland is a very consistent performer.
“David Ross finished the season excellently.”
Coull and fellow co-manager Scott Buchan will not make too many changes to the current Locos squad. Coull added: “These are two great signings for the club, although we are not looking to make any major changes, unlike last summer. There may be one or perhaps two new faces but we are very happy with how our squad shaped up last term.”
