Rothes have appointed Dufftown manager Fraser Bremner as successor to Paul Lamberton and Willie Duncan.
Lamberton and Duncan resigned their managerial posts with the Highland League club three weeks ago.
Bremner, 30, is a former Scottish schoolboy under-18 international midfielder. He signed for his local club Elgin City at the age of 15 and went on to play in the Highland League for Deveronvale and Forres Mechanics before joining junior outfit Dufftown as joint player-manager in 2013.
Bremner, who led Dufftown into this season’s junior Superleague, will not be in the dugout for the Speysiders’ Highland League match at Lossiemouth on Saturday.
He will be guiding Dufftown for the last time in their North Superleague home game against FC Stoneywood but he will face the toughest of baptisms when he takes Rothes to Harlaw Park in Inverurie on Saturday October 31 to face league leaders Cove Rangers.
