Brora Rangers manager Richie Brittain will take nothing for granted when he takes the champions to face a Deveronvale side which has lost 2-0 to both Keith and Buckie Thistle in the last seven days.
The champions will be without forward Paul Brindle, who has a hamstring injury, while attacker Colin Williamson is recuperating from an operation on his fractured cheekbone.
Former Ross County captain Brittain said: “I know Deveronvale had two players sent off during their midweek defeat to Buckie Thistle.
“Sometimes something like that can galvanise a team and they will be looking for a reaction when they face us.
“We are under no illusions it is going to be a tough game, but it is one we are really looking forward to.
“I am not too concerned about what they do, I’ll concentrate on my team. It is big pitch and I think it will suit our style of play if we perform to our abilities throughout.”
Vale will be without midfielder Craig Cowie and centre half Lukas Krobot, both of who are suspended after picking up red cards in Wednesday night’s defeat against Buckie.
Formartine United will be without injured centre half Craig McKeown and midfielder Neil McVitie for their home game against Strathspey Thistle, whose only doubt is former Brora Rangers’ forward, James MacKay, who is nursing a thigh strain.
Nairn County and Forres meet at Station Park.
The Wee County may well keep faith in the men who defeated Huntly 1-0 on Wednesday night while the Can-Cans are expected to be at full strength.
