Keith have appointed Allan Hale as their new manager.
The 27-year-old former Fraserburgh forward, who has been managing Junior side Maud in the Superleague, succeeds Gordon Winton who resigned last month.
Hale, who informed his players of his decision to move to Kynoch Park tonight, will introduce himself to his new squad before tomorrow’s Highland League match against Lossiemouth at Grant Park.
Hale did not apply for the vacant position but once the Maroons approached him quickly realised the chance to work in the Highland League was an opportunity he could not turn down.
He said: “I was manager at Maud for three and a half years after moving there from Fraserburgh in 2012, after seven years as a player at Bellslea.
“Keith chief executive Andy Troup, contacted me a couple of weeks ago and asked whether I was interested.
“He asked about my ambitions for the future and if I had any plans to manage in the Highland League in the future.
“I gave it some thought and I realised it would be a great chance for me and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
