Jings, two fine displays in the space of a week, with a ludicrous long midweek trek to Wick in between.
A great win at Lossiemouth, making it the last five seasons having won at Grant Park. No mean feat at the weekend, because Charlie Charlesworth’s side has been going pretty well this season. However, we thoroughly deserved the win, and a great way for Jim Stables to sign off, especially against his old club.
The dawn of a new era beckons now methinks, with Allan Hale and his assistant Gavin Wemyss now taking charge, and they will have been given plenty of food for thought following the Lossie match.
The 14 players involved against Lossie did their chances no harm, with some fine individual displays as well as an overall good team display. It is going to be interesting for the Keith faithful to see just how these two lads go about rebuilding the Maroons into silverware challengers once again.
The midweek trip to Wick was a fair trek to say the least with many of the Aberdeen based lads not getting to their beds until after 3am – quite ridiculous really, a reality check is needed, these guys are part-time footballers in full time jobs earning a living, common sense needs to prevail, but will it?
