Despite the rainy weather today saw four exciting games take place across the Highland League.
Today saw the Locos win 1 – 0 against Buckie Thistle thanks to a goal from Inverurie’s Martin Laing at the 37th minute.
Elsewhere, Cove Rangers beat Wick Academy 1 – 0, and Huntly drew 2 – 2 with the Broch.
And Lossiemouth also drew 2 – 2 in their match against Fort William.
Turiff V Rothes was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch, and Strathspey Thistle V Deveronvale was also cancelled because of snow.
And in round 2 of the the Breedon Aggregates League Cup, Clachnacuddin V Nairn County had to be cancelled due to the heavy rain.
Formartine’s match against Brora went to a penalty shoot-out because of a draw of 5-5 after extra time. The final score was Brora Rangers 5, Formartine 3.
