A hat-trick from Robbie Duncanson eased Nairn to victory against Fort William at Claggan Park.
The County forward opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a well-taken goal.
Duncanson controlled a cross from the right by Tony Wallace before scoring from eight yards.
Shortly afterwards, Duncanson was close to doubling his tally when he powered a volley from 25 yards off the underside of the crossbar.
Midway through the first half Fort William threatened in attack when Scott Davidson hit a long-range shot just over.
However, Nairn did not have to wait long to extend the advantage.
In the 28th minute, Fort William failed to clear a corner from Alan Pollock and Duncanson took full advantage by scoring with a low shot from a tight angle.
Late in the first half, Craig Mainland came to life for the home side, as he sent an effort just wide, before his drive was well saved by Nairn goalkeeper Calum Antell.
Just before the break, Conor Gethins struck a free kick over the bar and the County attacker had the first chance of the second half, but his low shot went wide.
With Nairn two goals to the good and seemingly content with their lead, much of the game was then played in midfield.
It was no surprise the next chance of the match arrived from a set piece.
On the hour mark, Sean Webb thought he had scored with a header following a corner, only to be denied by a super save from Douglas Maclennan.
The Fort goalkeeper was called into action again in the 69th minute to stop a powerful drive from Pollock.
Late on, Davidson again threatened for the home side, only for his low shot to be saved by Antell.
Duncanson completed his hat-trick in added time with a sharp finish following a cross by Pollock.
