Another successful season was brought to a close last night at the glitzy Highland League awards evening.
It was another great night for league champions Cove Rangers, with striker Daryl Nicol collecting the League’s Player of the Year award, midfielder Harry Milne the Young Player of the Year and boss John Sheran named Manager of the Year.

Cove also picked up the league’s fair play award, while the goal of the season gong went to Wick Academy’s Sam Mackay for his strong run and devastating finish against the champions.

Paul Brindle finished the campaign as top scorer with 30 Highland League goals to his name.
