Police have warned supporters attending the Caley Thistle v Hearts match this weekend to enjoy themselves responsibly.
The match is set to kick off at 3pm and officers will be on hand to escort fans from licensed premises to the stadium safely.
Match Commander Chief Inspector Alastair Garrow said: “Fans attending the match are advised to leave plenty time to arrive safely whether you’re walking or driving to the match – please pay attention to directions given by officers around the stadium.
“Drivers are reminded that traffic will be heavy in the area before and after the match so please plan ahead.
“We will have officers deployed in the city before and after the match checking licensed premises and helping fans get to the stadium safely.
“Please remember officers will be working closely with match stewards, and supporters who arrive at the grounds drunk will not be permitted entry to the stadium and could be arrested.
“The overwhelming majority of fans come to the match with their friends and family to enjoy the fixture, please support us in ensuring that you can do so in a safe and secure environment.”
