Caley Thistle manager Richie Foran has told his players to show more belief when they take on Aberdeen at Caledonian Stadium on Saturday.
The Inverness manager wants a response to the 3-0 defeat by Celtic before the international break.
Foran said: “I keep telling the players how much I believe in them because they show on the training ground how good they are.
“They showed it against Hearts and Motherwell recently, putting in excellent performances. They can play and keep the ball on the deck and play into feet.
“We didn’t do that against Celtic. We didn’t have the belief and we weren’t brave enough, which was disappointing.
“I’ve told the players since the first day I came in they must pass the ball forwards. They must look forward, then into midfield, but the last resort is we pass it back.”
Caley Jags have proven a thorn in Aberdeen’s side in recent times, winning two of the last four meetings between the teams and remaining unbeaten by the Reds since a 2-1 home defeat in April 2015.
Foran hopes the good form can continue and he added: “We’ve been on a fantastic run with only two defeats in 10.”
