Caley Thistle have signed Estonian international forward Henri Anier.
The former Motherwell and Dundee United attacker has signed a six-month deal with the Highlanders.
Anier becomes manager Richie Foran’s second signing of the January window following the arrival of Irish forward Dean Ebbe.
Like Ebbe, Inverness have the option to extend Anier’s contract beyond the summer if his short-term deal is successful.
Anier, 26, joined United in January 2015 but made just 30 starts for the club, scoring six goals before he left Tannadice in August last year following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The forward joined Swedish side Kalmar and the club announced he had been released last month at the end of their season.
On a day of activity at Caledonian Stadium, Inverness finally reached an agreement with Fulham which will see midfielder Larnell Cole’s loan extended for the rest of the campaign.
Completing a day of good news for the Highlanders, full back David Raven signed a six-month extension to his deal.
The full back’s new deal extends his stay at the club until January 2018.
