Caley Thistle midfielder Greg Tansey will move to Aberdeen this summer after signing a pre-contract with the Dons.
The 28-year-old, who is in his second spell with Caley Jags, has signed a three-year deal and will move to Pittodrie on June 9.
Manager Derek McInnes said: “He is a player we have admired for a long time and he will be a very welcome addition to the squad here at Pittodrie.
“He is a confident player, exactly the type of player we want to see at our club. There is more to come from Greg and I’m sure we will provide the perfect platform for him to develop.”
Tansey, who came through the youth system at Stockport County, has scored 24 goals in 142 appearances for the Highlanders. Aberdeen failed in a bid to sign Tansey in January 2016.
