Police have reminded supporters to behave responsibly if they are heading to today’s Inverness Caledonian Thistle clash with Dundee United.
Kick-off is at 3pm as the Scottish Championship season gets under way at the Caledonian Stadium.
Match commander Superintendent Mark Mackay said: “Fans attending the match should leave plenty of time to arrive safely, especially with Belladrum ongoing tomorrow as well which means the roads and other transport will be busier than normal.
“Drivers are reminded that traffic will be busy before and after the match around the A9 and the Longman Roundabout so please plan ahead.
“Both Police Scotland and Inverness Caledonian Thistle encourage those planning to arrive at the ground by foot to follow the signed route under the Kessock Bridge and along Stadium Road
“Supporters who arrive at the ground drunk will not be permitted entry to the stadium.
“The overwhelming majority of fans come to the match with their friends and family to enjoy the football, please support us in ensuring that you can do so in a safe and secure environment.”
