Caley Thistle’s academy director Danny MacDonald has become the latest employee to depart the Championship club.
MacDonald has tendered his resignation and left the club with immediate effect. Former manager Charlie Christie, the club’s head of youth development, has taken charge of the academy on an interim basis.
MacDonald, a former player and chief executive at the club, is the third member of staff to depart in the last two weeks. Ronnie Duncan, head of recruitment at the youth academy, retired last week while chief executive Yvonne Crook resigned two weeks ago.
Inverness chairman Graham Rae said: “We are sorry that Danny has tendered his resignation. It is with regret that the board has accepted it.
“We thank him sincerely for his hard work, commitment and good cheer while working for the club. We wish Danny and his family the very best for the future.”
