Owain Fon Williams hopes to force his way back into consideration for the Wales squad after joining Hamilton Accies.
The 32-year-old, who was a free agent following the expiry of his Caley Thistle contract, is looking forward to working with Hamilton boss Brian Rice, the former Inverness assistant.
Fon Williams, who has won one cap for his country, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to get the opportunity to work with Brian Rice again.
“To be back playing in the Premiership gives me the opportunity to be in the shop window for Wales. To play for your country is a dream for anyone.”
Meanwhile, Caley Thistle are hoping to sign former Dundee United attacker Aidan Nesbitt but face competition from Greenock Morton.
