Elgin City supporters were left frustrated after the SPFL’s online stream failed and showed only the second half of the draw, leaving fans unsure of their last-16 opponents until the SPFL confirmed the full draw on Twitter.
Elgin City progressed to the fourth round with a shock 2-1 victory over Dundee at Dens Park on Sunday.
Caley Thistle earned their place in the last 16 of the competition with a 3-1 home win against Morton.
Ross County defeated Connah’s Quay Nomads 3-1 at Caledonian Stadium in Inverness in last season’s final.
