Caley Thistle will host Rangers colts in the semi finals of the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup.
Inverness were handed a fourth successive home draw in this year’s competition, having knocked out Morton, Alloa Athletic and Clyde so far.
John Robertson’s men will now take on Gers’ under-21 side, who defeated Wrexham 2-0 in front of more than 5,000 at Ibrox on Saturday, on the weekend of February 15 next year.
Should Caley Jags progress past Graeme Murty’s side, they will await the winners of the other semi final tie between Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers in the final.
Inverness have won the competition under Robertson on two previous occasions, most recently when they triumphed 1-0 over Dumbarton in 2018.
