Caley Thistle forward Mitch Curry has returned to English Championship club Middlesbrough after his loan stint was ended early.
Curry was due to be with Inverness until January 25, however the two clubs have opted to cut short the agreement to allow the 20-year-old to return to the Riverside.
The Englishman joined Caley Jags on a six-month loan during the summer but suffered damaged ankle ligaments shortly after making the move, restricting him to just six starts and nine substitute appearances for John Robertson’s men. Curry netted two goals for the Highlanders.
