Caley Thistle defender Jamie McCart has completed his switch to Premiership side St Johnstone for an undisclosed fee.
McCart, who had already agreed a pre-contract to join Saints in the summer, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal after the two clubs agreed a deal for the 22-year-old to make the switch before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The move ends McCart’s second spell with the Highlanders, having signed on a permanent contract in summer 2018 following his release by Celtic. McCart had previously spent a six-month loan stint with Caley Jags in 2017 prior to their relegation from the Premiership.
A Caley Thistle club statement said: “The club would like to thank Jamie for his service and wish him the best for the future.”
