Caley Thistle’s Scottish Cup quarter-final tie with Hibernian has been moved to a Friday night.
The tie will be screened by BBC Scotland and take place at Easter Road on Friday February 28 at 7.45pm.
It would come just three days after Inverness’ trip to Dunfermline, during which they will have midweek home games against Morton and Queen of the South and now postponed Championship game against Partick Thistle to reschedule.
Caley Thistle fans have reacted angrily to the news on social media:
Remember when football was a working mans sport , and all games were at 3 on a Saturday????
The BBC will also show the Motherwell/St Mirren v Kilmarnock/Aberdeen game at 7.20pm on Saturday February 29. Premier Sports will televise both Old Firm Scottish Cup quarter-finals, with Rangers’ trip to Tynecastle at 5.30pm on February 29 and St Johnstone against Celtic at 3pm on the Sunday.
Fans vent frustration with decision to move Caley Thistle’s Scottish Cup tie against Hibs to a Friday night
