Caley Thistle have signed former Dundee United midfielder Scott Allardice on a one-year contract.
Allardice had been a free agent after a spell in Irish football, where he spent time with Bohemians and Waterford.
The 22-year-old had come through the youth ranks at hometown club United, making 19 appearances during a nine-year spell at Tannadice in which time he had loan spells with East Fife and Dumbarton.
Allardice made the switch to Bohemians in 2019, where he was made captain, and had joined Waterford shortly before the Irish season was cut short due to coronavirus.
Allardice becomes Caley Jags manager John Robertson’s third summer signing, following the additions of Shane Sutherland and Robbie Deas.
