Caley Thistle midfielder Ross Draper says his club have a vital pre-season ahead as they look to improve under John Hughes.
The Inverness side endured an inconsistent campaign after Hughes replaced Hibernian-bound Terry Butcher last December – winning only nine of 30 matches.
However Draper reckons Hughes needs time to get his football philosophies across to the Inverness squad and says the period ahead of the 2014-15 season kicking off will be hugely important.
He said: “We are still learning under the manager’s new regime and we have an important pre-season coming up to work on the way the manager wants us to play.
