Caley Thistle defender Gary Warren believes the frustration of missing out on the League Cup and European football can spur his side on to success next season.
The 29-year-old, who last month signed a contract extension to commit him to the club until 2017, knows last season could have ended on a happier note for the Caley Jags.
But after going so close last year, the Englishman is eager to win a first major trophy with Inverness.
He said: “It’s all about trying to improve every year.
“We got to a cup final last season and finished in the top six again. Can we go one better again next season?
“Can we get into Europe? Can we win a cup?”
