Caley Thistle will have a sponsor on the back of their shirts for the first time next season.
Inverness-based Korrie Group, which runs a plumbing, heating and mechanical services business along with a fast-growing renewable energy division featuring air and ground source, biomass and solar, will have its name shown on the shirt.
Club chairman Kenny Cameron said: “This new partnership with Korrie is an innovative and exciting one.
“With our considerable TV and media exposure, the shirt back is a prime vehicle for marketing your business.
“Korrie was a big help to us in installing the new biomass system at the stadium last season which has significantly cut our heating costs. It has become a major local employer and we hope our sponsorship connection is a long-lasting one.
“The funds from the deal will go straight into the manager’s football department budget. With our new shirt sponsor and now the Korrie involvement, this gives the club excellent strip sponsorship income in the new season and I would like to thank our commercial team, headed up by Iain Auld, who have done an excellent job in securing our strip sponsors.”
Donnie Fraser, managing director of Korrie, said: “We’re a community-minded business and this is an excellent way in which to support Caley Thistle.
“Having our website address on the shirt necks is, we think, a first-class business tool. It enhances recognition of Korrie and does a first-class marketing job.
“We’re delighted to feature on what is an attractive new shirt design – and it underlines what I hope will be an ongoing commitment by us to the club.”
