Caley Thistle have brought forward Alan Gow to the club on trial.
Gow previously worked with Inverness manager John Hughes at Falkirk and Hibernian, but is now a free agent after leaving Exeter City at the end of the season.
The 31 year-old spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers in the latter part of the campaign, but sustained a serious ankle injury which curtailed his playing time at the Memorial Stadium.
Hughes has now offered Gow the chance to rebuild his fitness, although the Caley Jags boss has played down suggestions a move is imminent.
However, Hughes has not ruled out offering a deal if the former Rangers man can prove his fitness over the coming months.
