Caley Thistle forward Ryan Christie wants to use his club’s last three games of pre-season to force his way into the starting 11 for the new campaign.
Christie scored the only goal of the game as Inverness beat Raith Rovers 1-0 on Saturday and with Caley Jags travelling to Banff tomorrow to play Deveronvale before playing Fleetwood Town and Birmingham City, the 19-year-old is planning on making the most of his remaining opportunities.
Christie, who is in the squad for tomorrow’s game at Princess Royal Park, said: “My aim now is to provide good competition to all these other players and hopefully if I get my chance, I can take it.
“We’ve got guys like James Vincent, Aaron Doran and Nick Ross, who can all play in a similar position to me, but the thing is we all play really well together too.
“The manager has certainly got a hard task ahead of him to pick a team with the options he has available throughout the squad.”
