Inverness manager John Hughes wants to add midfielder Lewis Horner to his squad.
The 22-year-old played for Hughes at Hibernian, and has featured in the Caley Jags’ last two friendly matches as a trialist.
Since his time at Easter Road Horner has had spells at Newcastle Benfield and Blyth Spartans, however Hughes is looking to bring him to the Caledonian Stadium.
Hughes said: “Lewis is a kid that’s probably just lost his way at this moment, but he’s come here and wants his opportunity. He fits the bill in terms of being one that has something to prove, he’s hungry.
“Technically he’s a very good footballer, his fitness levels are very good. It’s one we’re looking to try and do, if I could do it I would love to.
“He’s fitted right in. You can see even with his passing and his touch, he’s a footballer.
“He just probably needs that opportunity, and somebody with a bit of belief in him to get him going again.”
