Former Don Joe Harper will help conduct the draw at Pittodrie at 1pm today. Watch it live here: The third round draw will be seeded with the Dons, Celtic, Motherwell, Dundee United and St Johnstone all entering at this stage of the competition. Dons manager Derek McInnes hopes his side can excel in the competition once again this season. He said: “Once it comes round, you are always excited to see the draw come out. “We want to do well in the competition once again and hopefully defend the trophy.” Ross County earned their place in the third round after coming from behind to defeat Stranraer 2-1 last night. Caley Thistle have still to play their second round match. They will face Rangers after the Ibrox side defeated Queen’s Park 2-1 last night.
