VIDEO: John Hughes likens Ross Draper to Chelsea star

Inverness boss John Hughes has likened one of his midfielders to one of the top players in the English Premier League.

Caley Thistle comfortably ran out 4-0 winners over St Mirren to reach the fifth round of the Scottish Cup and speaking after the game Hughes said Ross Draper was “outstanding” and reminded him of Chelsea midfield enforcer Nemanja Matic.

Matic has won a number of plaudits for his commanding performances at the heart of the Chelsea midfield this campaign and Hughes has deployed Draper in a similar role, breaking up opposition attacks and starting attacks of his own.
