Caley Thistle assistant manager Russell Latapy reckons interest in his side’s players is inevitable given the success of the season.
Inverness could lose nine players who are out of contract in the summer. Defender Graeme Shinnie and Billy Mckay have already said they will leave, while first-team regulars Marley Watkins, Josh Meekings, David Raven and Nick Ross are also out of contract.
Decisions must be made on Liam Polworth, Danny Devine and Lewis Horner who have found opportunities limited this season.
Latapy is determined to keep the majority of the squad intact, but knows performances will have been noticed.
Latapy said: “We’re hopeful we can keep most of the players we have.
“When we’re doing well other people become interested. That’s the reality of life, so we just have to see how it goes.
“These players know the way we want to play football here, and they know the door is open for them here.
“Whatever their decision is, if they go away we wish them good luck and if they stay on we’re looking forward to working with them again.”
