Caley Thistle Women are now unbeaten in their last three SWF Championship games after a 3-2 win over Dryburgh Athletic.
A second-half flurry of goals gave the Caley Jags the home win – their second in three league games – despite an attempted comeback from the Dundee side.
Kayleigh Mackenzie scored a quickfire brace with goals in the 50th and 53rd minute to give Caley Thistle a 2-0 lead, before Rhea Hossack added a third in the 55th minute.
It was a nervy final 20 minutes for Inverness as Dryburgh responded with goals from Rachel Robbie and Chelsey Lownie in the 71st and 87th minute to make it 3-2.
The win moves Karen Mason’s side up to fourth in the Championship table, overtaking Hutchison Vale, whose game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
