Defender Max Ram is confident Caley Thistle will cut out mistakes and bury chances when they tackle Queen’s Park in the Championship this weekend.
Sections are the Inverness support are growing restless after four successive winless matches, most recently Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with Arbroath.
Nathan Shaw’s second half goal was cancelled out by a misjudged header by David Carson and Kieran Shanks delivered a killer goal to move Dick Campbell’s team off bottom spot on goal difference.

The week before, ICT crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Morton, with weaknesses at the back allowing Morton in for three of those goals.
The Championship weekend starts on Friday night when leaders Ayr United can move six points clear of Morton, Raith Rovers, Dundee and ICT if they leave bottom-placed Hamilton with maximum points.
Thanks to a five-fixture winning run from September into October, Inverness are within striking distance of top spot, but would perhaps welcome a positive Accies result on Friday.
Side will learn from costly mistakes
Centre half Ram, 21, said the players are aware they need to improve, but insists they know how to provide the winning mix.
He said: “It’s hard to get out of a rut when you’re in it, but I’m confident we’ll get out of it sooner rather than later.
“We’ve given away cheap goals away recently, but we’ll learn from these mistakes.
“Chances will keep coming our way, because we’re creating plenty right now, and hopefully these will be put into the net. We’ve plenty of good players.
“We know what we’re doing well and not so well in games, so we can’t wait to get out there on Saturday to put things right.
“Games are coming thick and fast at the moment and it gives us plenty of opportunities to improve. I’m sure we can get three points on the board this weekend.”
Winter chase for key league points
Premiership clubs get a mini break after this weekend as the World Cup takes centre stage in Qatar.
Ram, however, is delighted Championship clubs will keep going as ICT aim to turn the heat on their rivals.
He said: “Playing while the World Cup is on gives us a chance to keep pushing. We just want to get more points on the board to improve our situation.
“Yes we’ve got (eight) players out injured, but that’s no excuse. We’ve still got a good enough squad here to improve.
“While we’re disappointed not to have won the last four games, we’re still just three points off the top.
“We’re looking at the positives. Teams around us or above us are also dropping points, so we’re right up there. If we can get more points on the board, we’ll be back up to where we were before.”
Owen Coyle’s Queen’s Park are just one place and one point below ICT ahead of the weekend’s fixture.
The Spiders are playing home games at Stenhousemuir’s Ochilview and Saturday’s match has a 5.30pm kick-off. East of Scotland Second Division side Syngenta, who also play at Stenny’s home venue this season, take on Edinburgh United at 3pm.
ICT and Queen’s met on the opening day of the league season when it finished 1-1 at the Caledonian Stadium when Billy Mckay equalised after Jake Davidson’s early opener.
