The SPFL this morning confirmed all the Premiership post-split fixtures and the title could be decided at Pittodrie on May 10.
Aberdeen host Celtic in week 36 and, should the Dons and Ronny Deila’s men both win all their matches between now and then, a Celtic victory at Pittodrie would secure the league title for the Hoops.
Caley Thistle host Aberdeen in the first game after the split, while Ross County could jump above Partick Thistle when they host the men from Maryhill in the same weekend.
The Staggies have been on a remarkable run in recent weeks to move clear of the automatic relegation place but the team’s trip to Motherwell on May 2 could be the most dramatic game yet as the scrap between the Staggies and the Well to avoid the play off place continues.
The season will come to an end on Saturday, May 23 for teams in the bottom six and the following day for top six teams.
