Caley Thistle defender David Raven says the celebrations that followed his Scottish Cup semi-final winning goal in Sunday’s 3-2 victory against Celtic caused him cramp.
Raven netted with four minutes of extra-time remaining to set up a final against Championship side Falkirk next month.
The 30 year-old’s goal was his first of the season, and the right back was relieved he did not pass up the opportunity that fell his way.
Raven said: “I saw the ball flashing across the goal and thought ‘Get a connection, do not miss.’
“I got cramp in my groins because all the boys were jumping on me.
“There’s a team in there that die for each other. We had great supporters at the semi-final, and to win it for the whole Highlands area is brilliant.”
