Inverness Caley Thistle boss John Hughes has been named the PFA manager of the year at tonight’s awards dinner in Glasgow.
Hughes has enjoyed a stunning season, leading Inverness to the Scottish Cup final and a probable top-three place in the Scottish Premiership.
The Caley Thistle boss fought off competition from fellow nominees Derek McInnes, Aberdeen, Celtic’s Ronny Deila and Hearts’ Championship winning boss Robbie Neilson.
Celtic completed a double in the player awards, with Stefan Johansen collecting the PFA Player of the Year award and Jason Denayer taking the young player award.
Hibs midfielder Scott Allan was named player of the year in the Championship, while Aberdeen youngster Declan McManus, currently on loan at Morton, took the award for League One and Arbroath’s Bobby Linn took the League Two award.
