Inverness Caley Thistle have completed the signing of Congolese attacker Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo.
The forward had been training with Caley Jags, impressing manager John Hughes when he played in Inverness’ 1-0 friendly win against Nairn County this month.
Mbuyi-Mutombo is a full DR Congo international despite being born in Brussels and winning three caps for Belgium’s under-19 side.
The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Belgian outfit Anderlecht, moving on to then English Premier League side Portsmouth in 2007.
After leaving Pompey, he had spells with Belgian sides Standard Liege and Cercle Brugge before moving to Croatia with HNK Rijeka in 2012.
Mbuyi-Mutombo spent last season between Croatian side NK Istra 1961 and French third-tier outfit EFC Frejus Saint-Raphael.
