The transfer window has been open for a couple of months, teams have had plenty of time to sign, sell and agree deals, however, as always a number of teams have left it to the last minute so it looks like we’re in for a busy day today.
Celtic are reportedly looking to sign three players, while Hibs, Falkirk and Kilmarnock are all on the verge of strengthening.
In England, it is going to be an interesting couple of days for Manchester United – will they be able to hold onto David De Gea? Will they sign someone to help Wayne Rooney up front?

- Inverness Caley Thistle have given midfielder Ryan Christie permission to travel to Parkhead to discuss personal terms with Celtic.
The Hoops offered £500,000 for Christie on Friday. (Press and Journal)
- Celtic are on the verge of signing Croatian defender Jozo Simunovic from Dinamo Zagreb for £5.5 million.
Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell was unable to agree a deal with Dinamo counterpart Zdravko Mamic ahead of Celtic’s Champions League play-off with Malmo but has now reportedly agreed a fee with the Croatian club. (Scottish Sun)
- Celtic are looking to sign Scotland striker Steven Fletcher on loan from Sunderland.
The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Stadium of Light with manager Dick Advocaat preferring Jermaine Defoe and Danny Graham and also hoping to sign another striker before the window closes. (Daily Mail)
- As well as landing £11million from Southampton for Virgil van Dijk, Celtic could receive a further £2million from the South coast club if Victor Wanyama moves to Tottenham.
Wanyama has been widely tipped to join Spurs for £20million and the Hoops have a 10 per cent sell-on clause for the player. (Evening Times)
- Hibs are trying to sign former St Johnstone striker Stevie May on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
Nottingham Forrest are also in talks with Wednesday over a move for the Scotland cap and are favourites to sign him. (Scottish Sun)
- Falkirk are considering a move for 24-year-old French striker John-Christophe Ayina. (Daily Record)
- Kilmarnock are looking to sign former Dundee United defender Gavin Gunning following his release by Oldham Athletic. (Daily Record)
- Fulham have rejected a £10million bid Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday for Scotland striker Ross McCormack. (Various)
- Scotland midfielder Barry Bannan is expected to secure a loan move away from Crystal Palace today. Sheffield Wednesday are believed to be leading the chase for the 25-year-old’s signature. (South London Press)
