Ryan Christie has been given permission to speak to Celtic about a potential move by Caley Thistle.
The Inverness club released a statement on their website on Monday morning after discussions over the weekend.
A club spokesperson said: “As a result of a further approach from Celtic FC, and following discussions with the management team and the player, the board of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm that Ryan Christie has been given leave to travel to Glasgow to discuss personal terms.”
Christie has been linked with a £500,000 move to the champions for the past week.
