Two Aberdeen who left Saturday’s game when the Dons were trailing 2-0 have found online fame thanks to their efforts to get back into the stadium… using ice cream.
Stew Milne and Steven Cooper left the Caledonian Stadium when the Dons were losing 2-0 against the Caley Jags in order to get themselves an ice cream, however, when Ash Taylor pulled a goal back for Derek McInnes’ men the duo attempted to blag their way back into the ground to see if their beloved team could mount a comeback and score an equaliser.
Armed only with the ice cream cone and their determination to return, the duo tried to bribe a security guard with the cone before eventually sneaking into the home end.
The security guard was not impressed with the duo’s effort but they eventually found a way into the home end to see the rest of the game.
Fortunately for the rest of us, Stew kept the world updated on the developments via Twitter.
