The weather may still be miserable but the January transfer window certainly seems to be heating up.
Hibs have today completed a new loan signing, both sides of the Old Firm have been linked with a couple of new players and Caley Thistle are looking to extend the loan deal of their star striker.
Here’s a quick look at today’s transfer tales…
- Celtic are reportedly considering a move for striker Hyun-Jun Suk.
The 24-year-old has scored nine goals in 15 games for Portugeuese side Vitoria Setuba this season.
The South Korean has also scored two goals in six appearances for his country. (Various)
- Ronny Deila is also looking to strengthen his team at the other end of the park and spent Sunday scouting Eibar defender Aleksandar Pantic.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan from Villareal and is a former Serbian Under-21 international. (Daily Record)
- Rangers have opened talks with Accrington Stanley duo Matt Crooks and Josh Windass. The two players are out of contract in the summer and could pen pre-contract deals with the Ibrox club this month. (Press and Journal)
- Inverness Caley Thistle boss John Hughes is looking to extend the loan deal of striker Miles Storey.
Storey’s current Highland deal expires on Saturday and Hughes is hoping to come to a new arrangement in the coming days. (Press and Journal)
- St Mirren could sign midfielder Mark Fotheringham. The former Celtic, Dundee and Fulham player, who has also spent time playing in Germany, Cyprus and Switzerland, is currently training with the Paisley club.

- Hibs have completed the signing of  Niklas Gunnarsson on loan from Norwegian side Valerenga.
The 24-year-old defender has joined on loan until the end of the season with the option for a permanent move.
- Hamilton Academical have completed the signing of Congo-born Christopher Mandiangu. The midfielder has represented Germany at Under-18 level.
- Ayr United have extended the loan of Motherwell forward Craig Moore.
- Elgin City have extended the loans of St Johnstone duo Conor McLaren and Mark Hurst.
- St Johnstone’s Ally Gilchrist has had his loan spell extended at Peterhead as they bid to make the end of season play-offs.
- Craig Wighton has returned to Dundee after a loan spell at Raith Rovers.
- Dundee United manager Mixu Paatelainen is optimistic that John Souttar will sign a new contract despite the club’s offer being withdrawn.
- Robbie Muirhead has returned to Dundee United from Partick Thistle after his loan spell came to an end.
- Rangers defender Luca Gasparotto has extended his loan spell at Morton until the end of the season.
