Caley Thistle’s search for a new manager is attracting strong interest and it seems age is no barrier for some aspiring candidates.
The club has received many applications for the post following John Hughes’ departure from Inverness last week and one supporter, seven year-old Ewen, fancies having a crack at management.
Ewen already has an assistant in mind in Richie Foran and has told the club he will appoint Greg Tansey as club captain.
As for the possible clash with school studies, the youngster is confident he can come to an agreement with his head teacher to leave school early for training and important matches.
The club has published Ewen’s letter of application online and asked supporters to vote on whether he should make the shortlist.
As the saying goes ‘if you are good enough, you are old enough’.
Go for it Ewen.
