Ewen MacKenzie’s hopes of being Caley Thistle manager have been dashed.
The seven year-old applied for the vacant job at Caledonian Stadium but, following much deliberation, Caley Jags have decided not to interview the youngster.
Ewen had written to the club wishing to be considered for the vacant manager’s job and had even gone so far as to name Richie Foran as his assistant and announce his intention to make midfielder Greg Tansey captain.
However, Caley Thistle chairman Kenny Cameron has written to the school pupil urging him to study hard and keep practising his football and urged the young supporter not to give up on his dream of one day becoming Inverness manager.
