Inverness Caley Thistle have completed the signing of striker Scott Boden from Newport County.
The 26-year-old forward who netted 15 goals in 51 games for the League Two side last season, joins the Highland outfit on a two year deal, with the club holding an option for a third year.
Manager Richie Foran told the club’s website: “Scott will be a great addition to the squad. He plays in a position which we were keen to fill and he’ll fit right in here both as a player and with his personality.”
“Our work continues with other targets and we’ll bring the fans more news on that as soon we can.”
Boden started his career at Sheffield United but was unable to break into the Bramall Lane first team and has gone on to spend the majority of his career in the Conference and League Two.
The forward added: “I’m happy to have got everything over the line and I’m now buzzing to get going.”
“I’ve had a bit of a look around Inverness and it’s lovely. You only have to speak to a few people as well to realise the people match the place. I look forward to living and playing here.”
